Where's Waldo...

I'm not Waldo, but if you look at what I'm wearing you'd think I was inspired that goofy looking man-- maybe I was maybe I wasn't-- I'll never tell.

Praise the Lord, I finally took some time out made my brother take a photo of me while we were out to lunch to share what I wore today. School has been my life the past month, but can't complain I'm enjoying every minute of the college life, because come May I'll be a college graduate--un-freaking-believable. I haven't purchased much either this month-- just a pair of leopard jeans, a chunky knit beanie, and this adorable stripped sweater-- not because of school, but for the fact that I put myself on a budget till my trip to New York, which I'll be visiting in 3 weeks for

 Teen Vogue Fashion University.

 I've decided to stay longer in Europe and I couldn't be happier. I don't know a better way to spend my summer than abroad with my family. My cousin took this picture of me outside my Aunt's apartment and I'm in total awe of her home; right next to Princess Sissi's castle, quite snazzy if I don't say so myself.

I can't believe a few days off of blogging can seem like forever. I've been busy busy with school work, but I'm definitely managing.

My two Art History Classes, Dada and Surrealism & Women in the Visual Arts (along with my WSP & Business Marketing Class) have been taking up most of my time (too the point that I couldn't even go to work?!). They have been full of reading and writing. (I promise I'm not trying to complain!) I really do love reading and writing-- I totally believe there is an an inner nerd in me-- they're just time consuming.

I asked a good friend of mine and fellow photographer to shoot my outfit for me that day, since I lost my little remote (sad face) and I'm so glad I asked her, because we had such a great time wandering around campus finding places to shoot. I LOVE how the pictures turned out-- even if there just pictures of my outfit! ;) But what I really loved was getting together with a good friend  (for the short time we had available) to enjoy our loves (fashion & photography). This mini shoot got us thinking about doing a collaborative fashion photo shoot, so stay turned, we're really excited and eager to do one soon!!

Back to School

So it's back to school for Spring 2011. I'm really excited for this semester, because I'm taking some great classes. I had to add another Art History class for my major, so I chose a surrealism one; the class is going to be prime. So,this is what I wore, minus the heels. I had time to shoot these photos, so I decided to add the heels. My natural olive color is finally coming back, since the sun has been out. I noticed because today I was waiting in the sun for my boyfriend to finish class & tonight when I went to my kick boxing class I was starring at the mirror & noticed I have this burnt/browner look going on. haha. Oh goodness & its not even summer; definitely need to lather on the BLOCK.

It's been a VERY busy weekend...

 1. Went Downtown with my Mom to buy some art supplies & then we ate the most amazing bratwurst & truffled fries EVER.

2. Found a hidden Tea House in San Juan Capistrano and ate breakfast with my parents & brother.

3. My Dad & I in TJ for my Aunts 85th Birthday Mass & Dinner. 

4. Made the most amazing burnt butter & walnut brownies from one of my Moms cooking magazines. The funny part is that an hour later there was only 3 pieces left. My family & I devoured them.

5. Bought some new school supplies. (I start my Spring Semester Thursday.)

6. I came across this really great Agenda Idea, with a moleskin note book and had to do it, so I created my own for the new school year. 

7. Lastly, I finished my final art project for my painting class. I was pretty happy with how it came out. I really wanted it to look more realistic, since it was a still life, but I think it turned out pretty unique. You can't tell, but the colors are so vibrant and it really makes the painting pop.
